The Working KITAS allows foreign nationals to legally work and earn a salary in Indonesia, sponsored by an Indonesian company. This permit is issued for specific job roles that have been approved by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower. The responsibilities and job title must strictly match what has been authorized under the employment permit. You may also bring your family with you under dependent stay permits, provided immigration conditions are met.
Valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months. Recent color photograph (taken within the last year, recommended size: 3x4 cm). Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the applicant. Educational certificate (e.g., diploma relevant to the job position). Work experience certificate or recommendation letter, showing at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proof of sufficient financial means, such as a personal or sponsor's bank statement (last 3 months) with a minimum balance of USD 2,000 (or equivalent). Travel itinerary. Valid work permit (RPTKA/IMTA) issued by the Ministry of Manpower. Employment contract outlining job title, duties, salary, and duration. Hiring company’s legal documents/paperwork (including BPJS registration and WLKP). Details of work location, especially if it differs from the registered office address. Document stating salary or compensation package. For stateless persons or holders of temporary/emergency travel documents: return ticket or onward ticket, and proof of re-entry permit to their country of origin or third country. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If not used within that period, a new visa application will be required to enter Indonesia. You may choose a stay duration of 1 or 2 years, counted from the date of arrival. You are permitted to act as a Director or Commissioner in the company where the investment is made. You are allowed to supervise production processes in your company, including activities at offices, factories, or similar facilities. You may bring your family to reside with you in Indonesia. The visa allows multiple entries to and from Indonesia, as long as your re-entry permit is still valid You are permitted to pursue education under a multiple-activity stay permit scheme. You can also engage in investment, tourism, and social visits to friends or family.
